A. High-grade stenosis was present in the proximal left anterior descending artery (black arrow), the distal left anterior descending artery was occluded (black arrow), and severe stenosis was present in a diagonal branch (white arrow).
B. To protect the side branches involved, steerable wires were placed in the distal left anterior descending artery and in the two diagonal branches. D. The left anterior descending artery was dilated with a 2.5-mm balloon and the diagonal with a 2-mm balloon producing revascularization (D) of all involved arteries (frontal cranial view).
